His leadership is centered on expanding access to evidence-based, non-surgical care while building a collaborative environment where patients and team members can thrive.
Beyond leading SuperiorMED, Dr. Sparks is a respected educator on multidisciplinary healthcare models. He has presented to corporate teams, academic institutions, and Olympic and professional athletic organizations, helping bridge the gap between traditional medical care and holistic healthcare approaches.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sparks has helped develop and grow multiple healthcare practices across the country while maintaining a strong commitment to patient outcomes, evidence-based protocols, and team culture. Kelly Skender is a board-certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with 36 years of healthcare experience, including more than 26 years as a nurse practitioner. She is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and is dedicated to providing safe, thoughtful care that prioritizes each patient's comfort, well-being, and long-term health.
At SuperiorMED, Kelly works closely with patients to deliver personalized care while drawing on decades of clinical experience. In addition to her role at SuperiorMED, she specializes in pediatric critical care and the infusion of biologic medications, bringing a broad range of medical expertise to her patients.
Kelly believes in building trusting relationships with patients and empowering them with the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about their health.

Lorna Foster is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of experience in healthcare. She joined SuperiorMED with a passion for helping patients improve their health, manage pain, and work toward the personal goals that matter most to their quality of life.
Lorna takes a patient-centered approach to care. She believes that treatment should be tailored to each patient's needs and goals, with consideration given to conservative and non-pharmacological options when appropriate.
In 2025, Lorna obtained her Full Practice Authority license, further expanding her ability to provide comprehensive care. At SuperiorMED, she is committed to helping patients explore personalized treatment options to improve function, mobility, and quality of life.

Dr. Matt Spangler serves as SuperiorMED's lead functional medicine and wellness expert, bringing more than 14 years of experience in helping patients improve their health through personalized, non-surgical care. His approach focuses on identifying underlying factors that affect health while supporting long-term wellness and mobility.
Dr. Matt has completed advanced certifications in a variety of soft tissue therapies, chiropractic adjusting techniques, nutritional protocols, and wellness coaching. He works with patients of all ages, from infants to older adults, and has experience caring for athletes, including the Peoria Rivermen.
As an integral member of the SuperiorMED team, Dr. Matt helps guide patients toward conservative treatment options while educating them on healthy lifestyle habits that support long-term function, wellness, and healthy aging.
Outside the office, Dr. Matt enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his children at their sporting events and activities.

Dr. Eeman Tariq serves as Medical Director at SuperiorMED, bringing more than a decade of experience as a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. Her approach combines conventional medical expertise with holistic and integrative perspectives to support each patient's overall health and well-being.
Dr. Tariq has practiced Internal Medicine since 2013 and has developed a particular interest in wellness and regenerative medicine. She takes a whole-person approach to care, looking beyond individual symptoms to better understand the factors that may influence how a patient feels and functions.
At SuperiorMED, Dr. Tariq works to guide patients toward personalized solutions that support their physical and mental well-being. She is passionate about helping patients take an active role in their health and pursue meaningful improvements in how they look, feel, and live.

As Office Coordinator at SuperiorMED, Stefanie helps ensure the practice operates efficiently while creating a welcoming experience for every patient. She oversees daily office operations and supports both patients and staff with a focus on organization, communication, and exceptional service.
With more than a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Stefanie brings expertise in customer service, finance coordination, and office management. Her firsthand experience as a former collegiate softball athlete also gives her a unique appreciation for the value of regenerative medicine, having personally benefited from collaborative, non-surgical care while recovering from sports injuries.
Outside of SuperiorMED, Stefanie enjoys a good cup of coffee and caring for her chickens.

As Rehab Coordinator at SuperiorMED, Rachael helps patients throughout their rehabilitation journey by supporting individualized treatment plans and creating a positive, encouraging environment. She is passionate about helping people improve their mobility, function, and overall quality of life through movement-based care.
A Peoria native, Rachael grew up participating in volleyball, soccer, and swimming, developing an early appreciation for health, fitness, and injury recovery. While attending college, she worked as both a personal trainer and a stretching specialist at Stretch Zone, where she focused on improving the small movement patterns that can make a meaningful difference in patients' everyday lives.
Rachael plans to continue her education by pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Her enthusiasm, positive attitude, and commitment to patient care make her a valued member of the SuperiorMED team.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys reading, spending time with her nieces, and listening to music across all genres.
